Kathryn has been involved with dog rescue and dog fostering for several years.Initially Kathryn volunteered regularly at the R.S.P.C.A assisting the local shelter with care for animals. Due her passion for dogs and an opportunity to establish her own care facility she began to run a foster care organisation from home called "Four Paw Fostering". The foster care was aimed at assisting the local community who were aged or in financial hardship. Four Paw Fostering provided a home environment free of charge for pets that had owners in hospital. This service was and continues to be of great benefit to the local community and helps owner and pet stay united through difficult times. Kathryn is also a member of Animal Welfare League of the Far South Coast Branch.
Kathryn throughout the years has shared her day with a favourite K9 friend. Employment opportunities allowed Kathryn to bring a four pawed family member to work. As a great lover of physical activity, kathryn loves to walk, swi,; by her side has always been a dog. However in recent times the family has provided the local aged care facilities with doggy visits, where those who love a dog hug and kiss can share the love from one of our special clan.
The clan are a dedicated dog loving family.
